cultivating aliveness: how to teach a breath-centric class

“A posture without breath is like a river without water.” - Saul David Raye

Deepen your own understanding and experience of the breath through experiential activities and guided pranayama. You’ll learn how to teach with the breath as a central focus, helping your students connect deeply to their practice.

This training is open to all yoga teachers, regardless of style or tradition, and counts for 30 CEUs (Yoga Alliance).

In this training, you will:

✔️ Explore the nature of the breath and its anatomical and subtle body influences

✔️ Enhance your ability to hold space for transformative experiences among your students

✔️ Learn accessible breathing techniques to lead in different styles of yoga classes (hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative, chair)

✔️ Increase your verbal cueing toolbox for cueing the breath

✔️ Explore sequencing techniques to enhance the physicality of your class

✔️ Receive 1:1 mentoring for developing a breath-centric yoga class
